Onboarding
How a Corevia One account gets set up
Onboarding is a defined process with clear responsibilities on both sides. This page describes each stage, what we need from you, and what determines how long it takes.
1. Initial account review
- You provide
- Business details, the users you need, the modules you want and a short description of your current workflow.
- We do
- A written summary of the account scope, plan and anything outstanding.
2. Configuration
- You provide
- Logo, document wording, invoice numbering preference, VAT rates that apply to you and your TRN.
- We do
- We apply those settings and set up users, roles and permissions.
3. Data preparation
- You provide
- Export your existing customer, product and open-invoice data and clean it. You approve the final files.
- We do
- We supply CSV templates and check the structure of what you send.
4. Data import
- You provide
- Approve the sample import before the full run.
- We do
- Assisted import is included on Business accounts and quoted separately on other plans. We report any rows that cannot be imported and why.
5. Training
- You provide
- Nominate attendees and a time.
- We do
- One online walkthrough session of about 60 minutes for up to five attendees on Business accounts, plus written guidance for all plans. Additional sessions are quoted in advance. Recordings are provided on request.
6. Validation
- You provide
- Review the configuration, a sample of imported records and a sample invoice or quotation.
- We do
- Correct anything that does not match the agreed scope.
7. Go-live
- You provide
- Confirm in writing that the configuration is correct.
- We do
- Move the account to production use and confirm the go-live date.
8. Post-launch support
- You provide
- Raise questions as they come up.
- We do
- Two weeks of closer contact after go-live, then handover to the standard support channel.
Timeline
Many standard accounts can be configured within approximately five to ten business days after all required information has been received. Complex data migration, customisation and integrations may require additional time.
Timelines begin after Corevia One receives all required information, clean import files and customer approvals. We confirm any revised date in writing.
What extends a timeline
- Incomplete or unapproved business information
- Data that still needs cleansing or de-duplicating
- Large or complex imports
- Custom workflow requirements
- Third-party integration requests
- Delayed customer approval at the validation stage
- Additional training requirements
